The humour and vernacular perhaps lost on anyone outside Wales and parts of England, this piece by columnist Steve Groves is hilarious.
(I, like all the other Welsh schoolchildren wore daps as a child. When we moved to London, daps took on a new name – they were known there as Plimsolls – a bit more upper-crust, no doubt! Either way, daps and Plimsolls were worn for P.T.
